Volvo Truck Radiator Frame Installation
Use care when installing your Volvo Truck radiator frame to make sure the Tie Bar / Bow Tie Bracket and Rubber Insulators are in their correct position. Failure to do so may result in radiator core damage that is not covered under manufactures warranty.
The placement of the Tie Bar is very important to keep it from damaging the radiator core. Make sure the Tie Bar is not flipped around to be flush against the core.
Do not leave tie bar lose, this can allow it to flip over after time and rub against the radiator core.
Correct placement of the Tie bar
See photos # 1 & 2 for the correct placement of the Tie bar.

1. make sure Tie Bar is facing this direction

2. Make sure Tie Bar bolted tightly
Bow Tie Brackets should be assembled behind the structure face as shown in photo #3:

The rubber insulators should be installed as in photo #4:
If the upper rubber insulators in your Volvo Truck become dislodged over time, it can cause the face of the radiator core to move closer to the tie Bar and cause radiator core damage.
